In 2001 I started my career in the VFX industry as a runner for Lola Post. There was no better place to learn. Under the expert guidance of Rob Harvey and Grahame Andrew I was soon given opportunity to move into the areas I wanted to explore. Following a stint in the match move dept I had a go at compositing and that's where I stayed for 8 years. Not only did they play the best music but with Mark Richardson, Max Wright and Joe Cork I was working under and with some of the most talented compers around. The nature of Lola meant when we were given a shot we did everything from roto and match -move through to creating matte paintings and final delivery. I was regularly part of small teams nominated for BAFTA and Emmy awards and even got a BAFTA Craft Nomination myself in 2009 with 'Death of a President'
